The scheme also now helps young people who want to work in other countries. They can get loans up to Rs1 million to pay for training, visas, and travel costs.

Rana Mashhood said the government wants to create more chances for young people. He mentioned that the scheme has already given out over Rs186 billion in loans across the country.

A few weeks earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asked to raise the loan limit in the Youth Program from Rs 500,000 to Rs 1.5 million.

Today, there was a meeting in Islamabad about small and medium-sized businesses, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He asked for a detailed survey to be done soon to help these businesses.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister talked about making sure that help for these businesses meets international standards by using examples from developed countries.

He also said that a special offer for women who run small businesses should be ready and shown soon.

The Prime Minister pointed out that small and medium businesses are important for the world’s economy. The government supports these businesses to encourage more people in Pakistan to start their own businesses.
