About the Role
We are currently seeking seasonal farm workers to join our dedicated team at our fruit farm located in beautiful Kelowna, British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and want to be part of a team that values hard work, nature, and the food-growing process.
Our farm specializes in cultivating apples and cherries, and we are looking for dependable, energetic individuals who are ready to contribute to a successful growing season. Whether you’re an experienced farmhand or completely new to the industry, you are welcome here — we provide full training and support to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
As a seasonal farm worker, you will participate in a range of essential farming tasks that support the entire crop lifecycle — from planting to harvesting. Your duties will include:
- Planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops
- Applying fertilizers and crop sprays
- Harvesting apples, cherries, and seedlings
- Cleaning and preparing crops for market distribution
- Examining produce for quality and market readiness
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and tools
- Budding and pruning trees, cutting horticultural crops
This position requires physical work in varying outdoor conditions. You will be working in an environment that includes fruit and vegetable combination farming as well as miscellaneous crop operations.
What We’re Looking For
- No formal education required
- No previous experience necessary — we provide on-the-job training
- Basic English language skills for communication
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and operate machinery (training provided)
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
